the one where I got to hear one of my all-time favorite Gospel readings during Mass, (Matthew 6:24-34). SO comforting! I was actually reminded of this several times last week, during my food insecurity project. I kept seeing these cute little pudgy birds (my favorite kind!) and thinking about how God provides them with food. They don’t have to go to HEB and buy their groceries—they just have to fly around and find stuff! I feel like if I was a bird, I’d be worried constantly; “what if I can’t find any insects or berries or seeds tomorrow?!” and then I’d go into panic mode. But God continually provides for them—even to the point where they get all cute and pudgy! And He will always provide for us too. :)
Afterward I got to unleash my inner artist and paint for several hours with some sweet new friends! So thankful for Sundays.
