the one where Thomas and Lucas came to A&M for their New Student Conference! After helping them get their Student IDs, figure out possible class schedules, and sit through boring meetings, we had a really beautiful moment at Pizza Hut, of all places.
My dad (who recently had cataract surgery) looked at me from across the table…and tears started streaming down his face. He said that he’s never been able to see the color of my eyes before—and he never knew they were such a light brown. (Talk about an emotional moment! I still get tears in my eyes thinking about it.) Then after working on finishing touches and loading the U-Haul for AA92, I left the office, and to my surprise, I saw that my car had been decorated! The Midnight premiere of the final Harry Potter movie was just the icing on the beautiful cake that was today. The blessings abound!
