the one where I finally got to eat like a normal person again! YAY! It was also the one where I took a free practice GRE just to see how I would do without studying. OUCH. Talk about abasement.
abasement /əˈbeɪs.mənt/, noun:
1. The act of abasing, humbling, or bringing low; the state of being abased or humbled; humiliation.
(Yes, I made myself learn a new word to describe how this test annihilated me! Oddly enough, it was the first word I found after Googling “top 500 GRE words.” What a straaange coincidence.) Although I scored above average on the verbal portion, my quantitative skills are seriously lacking! But hey, better to know now while I still have time to improve, right?
Afterward, I went to an official "girls night" with the Italian sisters (aka the Apostles of the Interior Life), which included chocolate and a lot of girl talk, and then spent the night watching “13 Going On 30” with Stephanie for the second time this week! Happy Saturday! :)
