the one where I had a fun catch-up date at Fritella’s with my sweet friend Stephanie, followed by a grocery shopping adventure! It was so beautiful outside that I went for a run afterward, and when that was over I laid outside and stared at the clouds. I’m SO thankful for days like this one.
As I was laying there, I honestly felt like I could cry with joy! What did I ever do to deserve this life? To have the opportunity to get an education; to have so many wonderful friends; to have such easy access to food and water and shelter; to be surrounded by a strong community of faith; to have so many incredible blessings all around me? When I stop, take a step back, and count my blessings, it’s really overwhelming. But I’ve always heard that with great blessing comes great responsibility. Hopefully I can use these blessings that God has given me, and grow wherever He plants me, so that everything I do may bring Him glory.
