the one where this anonymous note left on my car door brought some warmth to my heart on this bitterly-cold day. (Dear Mystery Note-Writer: ten points for MAKING MY DAY. I had to spend much more time than I would have liked out in the frozen tundra, my biochemistry quiz didn’t go as well as I would have liked, and my genetics lab made me feel like I was going to lose my mind—it was one of those days where I felt like I couldn’t do anything right! Little things like this make a HUGE difference, especially on days where my spirits start wilting! Thank you for spreading the joy. Keep on keepin’ on. Love, Jamie)

See what I did there?), and we had a formal-gown-hunting adventure where we found a beautiful dress for Carolyn’s ball on Friday. (PS: Carolyn…you, my friend, are a knockout. Just sayin’. Love you!)
